Therapy Support Groups
Neurodivergent Community Support From Your Safe Place
At Neuron & Rose, we know healing doesn’t happen in isolation. So why try to go it alone?
Our virtual support groups let neurodivergent folx connect with others who really get it. Celebrate wins, navigate challenges, and share tips in a judgment-free space. Led by compassionate facilitators (often neurodivergent themselves), these sessions offer support, guidance, and help foster growth right from the comfort of your own home.
Monthly Late-Diagnosed Therapy Support Group
So you’ve realized you’re Autistic and/or an ADHDer…now what?
Now you can join our monthly therapy support group! Created and co-facilitated by late-diagnosed AuDHD clinician Tee Koro and our doctoral extern and neuroqueer clinician, Erin Bonham, MS, this group offers a supportive space for adults in California and Washington who discovered their neurodivergence later in life. Self-diagnosis is welcome.
Join other folx each week for a month as we navigate the post-diagnosis journey, explore your identity, and connect with a community that gets it.
Goals for the group include connecting like-minded folx, improving sense of belonging and supporting participants in living an authentic neurodivergent life. In each meeting, participants can ask for support across areas of their life like masking, burnout, friendships and accommodations.

Neurodivergent Grief Support Group
Grief doesn’t follow a script. Neither do neurodivergent people.
Losing someone you love can change everything. And for many neurodivergent people, grief can come with an added layer of feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or like you’re grieving “the wrong way.”
You’re not.
Our Neurodivergent Grief Support Group is a virtual, neurodiversity-affirming space for adults who have experienced the death of someone important and want to connect with others who understand that grief is complicated, nonlinear, and deeply personal.
Together, we’ll make space for loss, memories, connection, and the many ways grief can show up. Whether your grief is loud or quiet, recent or years old, overwhelming or hard to name — you are welcome here.
This group is open to self-identified and self-diagnosed neurodivergent adults (18+). You do not need a formal diagnosis to participate.
Facilitated by Neuron & Rose doctoral extern Erin Bonham, MS, a late-diagnosed AuDHD clinician who understands the experience of navigating identity, grief, and life through a neurodivergent lens, under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Hogan.

Neurodivergent Teen Support Group
Being a teenager is already a lot.
Add in navigating school expectations, friendships, identity, sensory overload, emotions, and a world that sometimes feels like it was designed for someone else’s brain? It can be exhausting.
This neurodiversity-affirming group is a space for neurodivergent teens to connect with others who get it, explore what makes their brains work the way they do, and build confidence without having to constantly translate, hide, or shrink themselves.
No masking required. No “fixing” yourself. No trying to become more neurotypical. Just a space to show up as yourself, meet other neurodivergent teens, and figure out what support actually works for you.
Together, we’ll talk about things like:
• Making and navigating friendships (because humans are confusing sometimes)
• Self-advocacy and asking for what you need
• School, accommodations, and surviving the expectations game
• Sensory needs and finding ways to make life fit your brain better
• Masking, burnout, and the very real exhaustion of “trying so hard”
• Executive functioning, motivation, getting things done (or figuring out why it’s so hard)
• Emotions, self-esteem, identity, and learning to trust yourself
Through conversations, shared experiences, and practical strategies, teens will build community, gain self-understanding, and explore ways to thrive that honor their unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world.
This group is facilitated by Neuron & Rose doctoral extern Erin Bonham, MS, a late-diagnosed AuDHD/neuroqueer clinician who understands the experience of navigating identity, grief, and life through a neurodivergent lens, under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Hogan.

What to expect from a therapy Support Group Session
Each session begins with a warm welcome and introductions, giving everyone a chance to share a little about themselves and their journey. Discussions focus on topics that matter to the neurodivergent experience, guided by our compassionate and experienced facilitators.
Whether you are exploring self-care strategies, navigating social challenges, or celebrating wins, big or small, our virtual support groups provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to share, learn, and connect with others who understand.
Participants are encouraged to contribute at their own pace, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and respected. By the end, our goal is to leave you feeling seen, heard, validated, and supported on your path toward personal growth.
